Ellie Lemons is a 23 year old model, personal trainer and educated nutrition lover. Through her website, she aims to empower other individuals to be the happiest they can be through nutrition and fitness.
What does a typical day in your life look like?
My days change all the time! Sometimes I’m working as a model, other times I’m blogging, training clients, or doing nutrition consultations! Not knowing what I’m doing drives me mental but I’ve had to learn to just go with it! My dairy is my life!
Where did your passion for fitness and nutrition come from?
I grew up very active and with a very healthy family. I guess as i grew older and realised how important it is to be fit and healthy. My parents always made sure i was eating nutritious foods and so it seemed so simple for me to go on studying more about whats good for you body and how to put it into practice in every day life!
When did you know that this was what you wanted to do?
I kind of just fell into it. I always knew I loved health and fitness. I always expected I’d be a teacher, but modelling put me on a different path, the health and fitness just happened as I was interested in it, and now here I am!
You’re also a model as well. How did you get into the modelling industry?
I was actually babysitting the kids across the road when I was fifteen and their aunty who was a photographer told me I should model. It went from there. Mum and dad were a bit hesitant, but I’ve got a pretty good head on my shoulders so off I went!
What are some of your career highlights?
I’ve been able to travel with modelling and do some incredible shoots which has been amazing. My favourite thing though is helping people get motivated to be healthy and improve themselves. I don’t think much can beat the feeling you get when you help others.
What made you decide to make an ebook?
I always found when people were giving me nutrition advice, it was often skewed and so complicated. I wanted to create something that helps people and explains to people what certain things do for our bodies and how to fuel them properly. I also wanted to promote balance and that cooking healthy meals doesn’t have to be hard and can be fun!
What is your passion? What is your dream?
I just want to help people. I love inspiring people to become a healthier version of themselves and work out what works for them. I think that’s very important. We live in such a crazy world where it’s very easy to hate yourself. I want to make people feel amazing for being nothing but themselves. So I’m not really sure of the long term dream, but right now that drives me!
